Just returned from bringing two European herpers on a herping tour through some of Cameron Highland's little-explored and ecologically-rich rainforests for almost a week.
Nights of heavy rain, freezing mist, wet mud and steep slopes while trekking through the forest resulted in these rewarding sights.
Leech bites are to be expected.
Some arthropod.
Some beetle.
They call this the 'king grasshopper'.
Millipede.
Stick insects.
Spider.
Some kind of arboreal scorpion.
Could do with some ids for these frogs, except the first two which are
Megophrys longipes and
Rhacophorus bipunctatus respectively.
