| Are there any Keepers with this species here?
I have successfully reproduced this species this year and currently we have 12 eggs in the incubator......but as it is a rare snake in US collections, I wondered if it was equally uncommon across the big pond? |

| Sorry, your pic does not appear, you have to use a phpbb link, not a html URL Works good with http://www.imageshack.us/ Choose "Hotlink for forums" when the pic has been loaded from your computer then copy-paste the link in your post. Here we mainly use latin scientific names 90% of the time,as vernacular names are pretty confusing...what's the latin name of the species you mentionned? ______________________________________________________________________La Nature ne s'arrête pas aux vitres d'un terrarium. |

| I should have included that.......my bad!
Liasis macklotti dunni (Stull, 1932)
The species is under review and there are two different papers in process that will elevate it to full specific standing (Liasis dunni).......
The species comes from the Island of Wetar in Indonesia and was thought to be extinct 40 years ago, like many other hidden gems in Indonesia, it simply was somewhere they were not looking. |

| The shot with the head in it is as the last egg was laid!
the shot of it eating was 1 day after the last egg was laid.......you can see how very thin she was after laying 12 eggs! I will get some current pictures of her and the male .She is back to pre breeding weight and eats like a percheron! |

| I included a shot of my son with a two year old Python reticulatus...a species I DO NOT endorse as a "pet" as they grow to a size that requires experience, large enclosures and forethought to the danger that a large adult aniomal poses....and obviously I was present, my son is not allowed to be with any of the snakes without Daddy helping! |
