venomous herps trading

Just a little poll.

In the actual herpetoculture trading we can see more and more people who buys venomous herps like giant spiders,venomous snakes, poisons arrow frogs.And many of this animals are often bought by irresponsible guys.Some of this guys are sometimes in the total illegality because they doesn't have safe setups or more simply they totally inept for coping with this animals.

In your opinions:
Should venomous herps trading must be banned?
Or do you think that there is an alternative solution to this great issue in herps keeping domain

In Iceland where I live all reptiles be they venomous or not are not accepted as pets by authorities.Only science students and scientists can have them and I was allowed to keep my snakes at home.Venomous snakes are really popular in countries like Sweden where they are almost considered just like other snakes,but I personally would not have some.I think it's too dangerous,errors can happen at any time and result in a deadly bite.That is why i focus on non-venomous colubrids,I would not be allowed boids,even small sized ones.

I have no idea about what laws are in place abroad but in the UK you must obtain a DWA license to keep venomous reptiles. Unfortunately the license is granted by local concils so there is no uniformity across the country. In some areas it is easy to get the license whether you are capable or not and in other areas even the best handlers are denied a license.

I would like to see a fairer way of evaluating peoples suitablity for keeping venomous reps.
